Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium

MCC-NCI logoThis symposium, presented by the Division of Surgical Oncology and the UK Markey Cancer Center, will highlight the latest advances in gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic cancer treatment. We will discuss clinical trials, endoscopic techniques, high-dose radiation treatments, and ablative treatments for metastatic disease. Learn about the latest surgical treatments, such as hepatic artery infusion (HAI), hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), and pressurized intraperitoneal chemotherapy (PIPAC). Those attending will also learn about immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and the use of artificial intelligence in cancer diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, participants will have the chance to network with leading experts in the field.

This meeting is for oncologists, surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiologists, oncology nurses, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, clinical oncology pharmacists, clinical research staff, cancer center administrators, cancer center program leaders, patient advocates, and medical students. Attendance is open to everyone.
